Flutterby Flowers - Margaret Brackenbury

Hello everyone, Margaret here again. Thank you to everyone who liked my Butterfly Spring card from Thursday. I'd like to show the other two cards I made, using the same techniques with different stencils...........

For the first card I applied Black Starlight Wax through the Modern Flowers stencil onto a piece of white card I painted with a wash of Japanese Jade Alchemy Wax.

I then applied Structure Paste through the Flutterby stencil and when that was dry I brushed on a little Silver Sparkle Medium to highlight the butterflies.

I kept the matting and layering simple, with black card and blue card brayered with
Silver Sparkle Medium..........


 

For the second card I applied Black Starlight Wax through the Alpine Poppy stencil onto a piece of card that I'd used to mop up excess paint. I applied Structure Paste through the 

Wheat panel stencil and when it was  dry I brushed Gold Shine Sparkle Medium on top.

I added a greeting and a black matting layer to finish..................
