Pretty in Pink

Good Morning Crafters

Today we are sharing another of our new DT members Samantha Wade tutorial

Please do hop on over to Samantha's blog to see some more of her work.

Pink Blossoms card.
Floral Tea Cup Stencil.
Sparkle Medium, Sage Green, Old Rose, Antique Bronze, Chartreuse.

Using low tac masking tape, attach stencil to the patterned card and apply Sparkle Medium with a palette knife. Brown to the birds, the green to the leaves, old rose(which is so perfect with the card) to the other areas, remove stencil and leave to dry.

When dry, reapply the stencil and add the chartreuse to the birds chests, and go over any areas you want to add colour to, using a brush for small areas and a piece of cut and dry to smooth over larger areas.

When dry and happy with the colours add flowers and cheese cloth, glue the pearls and gems.

Mat the patterned card onto pink glitter card, then onto a 7x7 card

That is it for Today, we hope you enjoy your weekend.

Orchids

Good Morning Crafters

We hope that you all enjoyed your weekend.

Today we have a tutorial for you by Rachel to share.

Inkadinks - Vintage
Orchid Decoupage Stamp Set

Add a drop of avocado inkadink to glass mat - add water to brush and swirl into ink drop - use to wash over page, repeat with gingerbread inkadink and aubergine inkadink.

Stamp orchid in black archival ink and paint using the same colours of inkadinks.

Here's the completed image - fussy cut and mount onto pearlescent card

Cut the background created so far to size and use small stamps from the set to create a pattern.

To complete the pattern use the orchid and flourish from the stamp set. Mat and layer this onto lilac card.

Here is the completed card, stamped the sentiment from the stamp set onto the patterned card.

We hope that you enjoy today's tutorial and thank you for stopping by Today.
