Birds of a Feather

Good Morning Crafters

How is your week going so far? We are very busy preparing for our show later on this month, we will update you nearer the time of date and show times.

Today we have a tutorial from Nicky.

MDF Frame
Patterned Paper
3 Bird Stencil
Gilding Flakes

Take an MDF frame and cover it with glue then put the card on the frame.

Daub the gilding glue through the stencil then remove the stencil
and covere it with the flakes and rubbed them off.
Top Tip put the stencil in to warm water to get the glue off.

Once all the excess flakes have been removed distress around the edges of the patterned card.

The embellishments are from Nicky's stash

Once this was done hot glue the fence on and used a stamp from the gilding stamps and inked
it and stamped on the fence. Then added the flowers and the cute owl, add some corners with
little pearls and used yellow liquid pearl on the chains.

Here is a close up of the bird cage, fence, flowers and corners.

Thank you for visiting, enjoy the rest of your day
