Decorated Canvas

Good Morning Crafters

Oh my we are nearly at the end of June, where has this month gone?

Today we are sharing a beautiful canvas tutorial by the very talented Christine

Paint a canvass with white Acrylic paint and add the Flower Frame Border stencil over the top.

Spread Antique Bronze and Chartruese Sparkle Medium on the top.

Stamp some flowers using water-poof ink , paint with Mica powders and cut out the flowers when dry.

Draw with a glue pen in between the images all over the canvass and when dry and add Gilding Flakes

Add a photo of your favourite choice to the apeture.

Add the mica painted flowers  to the canvas and ink the edges in a colour to match.

New Home

Good Morning Crafters

Today it is my turn to share a project with you all.

I have made a New Home plaque using the following products from Imagination Crafts.

Silkies - Sunshine Satin
Sparkle Medium, Dark Amber and Sage Green,
Stencils, Apple Blossom and Dawn Til Dusk

I first painted the Plaque with Silkies Sunshine Satin

Then using the Dawn Til Dusk Stencil I took part of this stencil and used Dark Amber and Sage Green for the scene of the cottage and trees.

Once the first part was dry I used the Apple Blossom Stencil and Sage Green over the rest of the Plaque.

I next used Gilding Wax Antique Gold around the edges, added the words "New Home" which was cut out using Tattered Lace Sentiment Dies and adhered to a Kraft card ticket.

Then added some small lemon and cream blossoms to the corner.

To finish off I added the cord to the back.  All done and a give for someone who is moving house.

I hope you have enjoyed my pictorial tutorial.

Enjoy your day!
