Affairs of the Heart

Good Morning Crafters

We have a very long tutorial for you today from our Jennifer today so grab a cup of tea and enjoy.

Sparkle Medium - Black Stars and Champage
MDF Paint
MDF Frame and Charms (Home)
Bride Stencil

Here are the products I used in the making of this MDF project

Use the back only as a base from the new home charm kit.  Paint it with the cream mdf paint.

When dry, lay the lady stencil onto the right-hand side of the MDF board, masking off everything but the lady.

Spread the black stars sparkle medium over the lady.

Carefully remove and wash the stencil and leave image to dry.

Stamp the sentiment to the left of the lady using a black ink pad.

Cover the MDF heart from the charm kit with the champagne sparkle medium and leave to dry.

Take a piece of plasterer's mesh and cover with the champagne sparkle medium.   Lift mesh up and put aside to dry.   Scrape up the excess medium and return to the jar, to be used again.

When mesh is dry, glue down the left-hand side of the board.

Gently rub some fired brick distress ink around the edges.

Glue the gold heart between the sentiment and the lady.

Add a rose and flowers to the bottom of the board and glue some pink rhinestones to the design.

Use the cut-off excess gold mesh to make a bow and glue to the mesh, adding 3 small flowers.

This is the finished project!

We hope you have enjoyed the tutorial for today.
