Grungy Tag Demo

Hi peeps

Kath here with another demo for you to get mucky with lol
My apologies this was supposed to be a YouTube but I had gremlins
So here goes a quick grungy tag
Things you need
Chalk white MDF paint
Couple of Silkies Green and Bronze
Inkadinks - Green
Grunge Elements stencil (sorry mine is so grubby)
A flourish stamp ( I've used one from the Butterfly gilding set)
and a tag shape or a card ? I've used Kraft card
Stencil the halftone pattern in a couple of random places, dry thoroughly.
Using distress inks
colour the tag try and use a darker colour around the edge to frame it.
Take a bit of kitchen roll and lightly spritz with water and wipe over the dots, the paint resists so you have nice white dots again.
Using inkadinks stencil the splat and then flick some of the ink down the tag again dry thoroughly

Spread a little bit of Silkies paint on your desk and lightly pounce your chosen stamp into it then stamp up your tag I've used green and bronze for a verdigris effect
Once your happy dry it off and stamp with your fave sentiment
with archival or stazon as the paint will resist water based inks
Add a bit of ribbon dyed with inkadinks and voilĂ  a grungy tag

All the items I've used are available HERE

Thanks for looking I hope you have a go and share with us
